Applications are open for the Foundwork Artist Prize, an annual juried award to recognize outstanding practices by contemporary artists. This year, two honorees will receive unrestricted $10,000 grants and studio visits with each of the jurors. The honorees and three shortlisted artists will also be interviewed in the Foundwork Dialogues programme to further public engagement with their work. ENCLAVE LAND ART has announced the open call for the Third Edition of the Enclave Land Art Residency. During the 2-week residency, the selected artists will focus on the dialogue between human beings and nature so as to create an artistic Land Art itinerary in the area of Vall de Gallinera, Spain. ETNOVIDEOGRÁFICA, International Ethnovideographic Festival, invites directors from all over the world to submit their ethnographic documentaries showing different cultural, social, political, historical, aesthetic and economical realities. Deadline is 15 October. Apply here.

The Kalamata Dance Festival (KDF) invites creators, choreographers, dancers and dance companies to submit their proposals for the season 2022. Creative Giants is commissioning five accessible public artworks to form the Norfolk Way Art Trail, an outdoor public art trail in Norfolk, England. This opportunity is open to creatives of any nationality, individuals, and groups. Deadline is 20 October. Apply with your idea here.

The LOEWE FOUNDATION has opened the call for entries to the fifth edition of the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize. The winning works will be featured in an exhibition and accompanying catalog in Seoul in Spring 2022. Both individual artisans and collectives of all nationalities are welcome to apply. The work submitted should be an original piece, handmade or partly handmade which falls within an area of the applied arts. Deadline is 25 October. Read the submission guidelines here.

PULPO GALLERY is now accepting submissions for its 2022 OPEN CALL SOLO SHOW, awarding the winner an all-expenses-paid solo show at PULPO GALLERY in 2022. Entries can be any form of two-dimensional or three-dimensional art. Deadline is 31 October. Application details here.

Book Works launches Arrhythmia, an open submission series guest-edited by artist Katrina Palmer. Artists and writers whose experimental work articulates a discontinuous sense of identity and explores ideas of being out of joint with the predominant social order are invited to apply. Projects that have the potential to disseminate beyond the printed page such as performance, spoken word, sound, or digital images are also encouraged. Deadline is 01 November. EMMA Pforzheim is offering three scholarships for the “Designers in Residence” program. The call is directed to designers working in the areas of jewelry, fashion, accessory, industrial and communication design as well as other design disciplines. Scholarship holders will be offered accommodation in Pforzheim, Germany, as well as fully equipped workshops, reimbursement of travel expenses, and monthly support. Deadline is 15 November. The Paphos International Film Festival is committed to supporting authentically independent short films and it aims to research, promote and develop the art of independent film making. Submissions are now open for the 2022 edition. There is a small application fee. Early bird deadline is 01 December. Read more and submit here.

Jan van Eyck’s annual Call for Applications is now open. Artists, writers, curators, architects, and designers ranging from graphic and fashion to food and social design, are welcome to apply for an 11-month residency starting in November 2022. There is a registration fee of 65 euros. Deadline is 01 December. Read more and apply here.

The CYENS – Thinker Maker Space has announced an open call for the Artist-in-Residence Program taking place in Nicosia, Cyprus. The call is open to all creative individuals. Deadline for the winter round is 15 December 2021. Apply here.

Τhe Lisbon Architecture Triennale announces the Début Award to be presented to an architect or a practice hoping to support new voices and forms of architectural practice. The competition is open to architects under the age of 35, or architecture offices with an average age up to 35. Deadline is 28 February. Read more here.
