Fondation d’entreprise Hermès invites emerging and established artists to participate in The New Settings programme which supports hybrid performing arts projects merging visual and/or digital arts. Selected projects will receive support during the production and the staging of the works in Paris and the Paris region. Deadline is 1 July. Apply here.

DYSTOPIE Sound Art Festival launches an open call is for sound artists living in Europe to submit new or existing works that focus on the theme of dystopia. The call is open to different sound-artistic perspectives, including visual, object-like and space-related means in addition to sound. This year's festival will be establishing a connection with the Brazilian sound art scene and selected works will be shown in Dystopie Festival in Brazil in 2021. Deadline is 1 July. DutchCulture invites cultural directors, artists, thinkers, scientists, critics, policymakers and funding organizations to this year's Fair International Cultural Cooperation gathering, focusing on the theme of language. The discussion will be exploring how international cooperation can be organized in a way that is fair in respect to the usage of language. Digital participation is also available. The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía is offering three research residency positions as part of Our Many Europes - Europe’s Critical ‘90s and the Constituent Museum (OME) programme. The positions are open to independent artists and researchers, both individuals and collectives. The deadline is 6 July. For more information read here.

Beyond Quantum Music is an international project that aims to explore connections between visual arts, music, and quantum physics resulting in live performances and other types of interaction with the audience. The call welcomes artistic creations with immersive, audio-visual focus, digital art, sound installations, video works, as well as music merging analog and digital sounds. Deadline is 10 July. HALLE 14 — Centre for Contemporary Art announces an international grant for a new work of art to be realized within the exhibition project BIG D@T@! BIG MON€Y! The exhibition deals with capitalizing personality profiles in the big data industry and multiplying economic values in the financial industry. The call invites visual artists from around the world to propose project ideas appropriate to the exhibition theme. Deadline is 12 July. Read more here.

The European Culture of Solidarity Fund of the European Cultural Foundation supports cultural initiatives that reinforce European solidarity and the idea of Europe as a shared public space in response to the current crisis. Representatives of organizations and individuals over 18 years old are eligible to apply. The call is open to international applicants. Applications for the current window close on 14 July. Digital Earth is offering 8 fellowships to artists and/or duos from different practices who explore ideas of resilient futures, equitable societies, and critical diversity. The focus of this year's fellowship program is The Planetary Sensorium, inspired by the philosophical work of Lukáš Likavčan. Deadline is 17 July. Read more and apply here.

The Flat Time House launches the Delta (Δ) Research Placement for artists to undertake a period of remote research with the John Latham Archive and develop digital projects for a new experimental online platform. Luminous Eye invites photographers-artists-professionals or amateurs-to submit works for an international group exhibition entitled Inwards – Life on pause as a starting point for transformation. The exhibition will be held first on the Luminous Eye website and at the Luminous Eye space in Athens, after the lifting of the restrictive measures. Deadline is 1 September. Apply here.

The Centre for Applied Human Rights, seeks to support activists and artists across the world responding to the outbreak of Covid-19 and its implications for human rights defenders, activism, civic and political space. The selected teams of activists and artists will collaborate to create reactive, therapeutic or imaginative responses to the crisis. There is no fixed deadline for proposals and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Read more here.
