Lucy Art Residency Open Call 2020

01.02.2020

Lucy Art Residency has announced an open call for its 2020 residency program and commission for visual artists working mainly with photography. Artists based in Europe or the Mediterranean whose main practice is photography-focused are encouraged to apply via the LAR official website. Last day to submit is the 13th of February.

A longlist of artists will be selected from the received applications and will be featured on the Lucy Art Residency Instagram account. One artist will eventually be selected to spend two weeks in late May/early June 2020 in Kavala, Greece for the residency. Transportation, accommodation and subsistence are covered. The residency is hosted by Lucy Hotel in Kavala, Greece. A fine sample of modernist architecture, the hotel was built on the town's seafront in 1976 and was renovated to become a five-star hotel in 2009.
