On the occasion of the celebration of the International day of la Francophonie and in partnership with the French Cultural Institute in Athens and the Swiss Embassy in Greece, Flux Laboratory Athens is pleased to present the work of the artist Camille Bondon for the first time in Greece in an unusual place: Kopria plants nursery located in the district of Exarheia.
Camille Bondon plays with words, books, graphs, signs and the "bits of self" left in everyday objects. An intelligent, sensitive and poetic work.
Camille Bondon collects books in which the owners left some traces, she dwells on our graphic manias, our elements of language, the sound of words. Her poetic practice decrypts and highlights our character traits with finesse.
For "La Mesure du Temps", Camille Bondon invited people to send her their diaries. In the spoken video she made, she dissects the habits of each one in order to realise that our time is governed by that of the others and the time which one grants to others.
The film showcases her very expressive hands flipping through these diaries, while she performs live and explains what is screened ...
