Circular digs into distribution systems and formats around Athens; flyers, posters, sandwich boards and billboards, focusing on improvised and makeshift communication networks. It brings together the collected, gleaned and scavenged materials of ephemeral communication networks, and includes collaborations with local copy shops, interviews with public notice flyer-posters, and visits with abandoned billboard hoarders to explore relations between author and public, social and economic conditions.
Circular is developed with and at Yellow Brick and is supported by CBK Rotterdam (Centre for Visual Arts Rotterdam), and the European Cultural Foundation.
