Evripidis Sabatis is a Greek-born musician, writer, visual artist, music selector and cultural agitator. He currently spends his time between Barcelona and Athens. The exhibition Futile Games In Space And Time shares title with his last LP, published by his musical alter ego Evripidis and His Tragedies. The exhibition consists of a series of drawings that have been produced over the course of several years and that are in a close rapport with his music and writing. Recurring themes such as anxiety, depression, loneliness, insecurity and other demons mingle playfully with mythological creatures, animals, landscapes and abstract forms, offering a window to the artist's peculiar, hilarious, melancholic and bizarre world.
